That evinrude is going to cost you 25k in resale. Anybody who buys it will have to plan for a repower.

Good luck selling it. Die hard Evinrude guys who work on their own stuff will want a huge reduction in your price.
Lot of people will agree to pay for the boat/trailer, but consider the engine as a throw in with the sale, giving it little to no value.
Getting tougher to find anyone to do warranty work, many places won’t even look at them for basic stuff. And newer parts can be difficult to find even though Bombardier said they would honor warranties and keep parts available.
Loved my older Rudes, but glad I don’t have to deal with the issues now.
