re: Any of You Baws Go By Your Middle Name?

Two people in my wife's grad school class had a similar thing happen. In school they went by their formal names, and then when the class met people from their personal lives they told them that they actually went by their middle names. Kinda weird to me that they never said, "I know my name is listed as x, but I prefer to be called y" to their classmates.

If I ever have to disappear, I'll probably go by my middle name.
