All those high rollers that fly into BTR can look at the weeds along the interstate and busted arse harding blvd. A small use tax, which is basically what this is, is more than fair to get a modern arena and the benefits that come with it, of which there are many.
If they’re going to tax the whole state you would have a better point, but you cannot get good jobs and the people qualified for those jobs to come here without top tier entertainment options. And you can’t get those type entertainment options without this kind of an arena.

You've said this multiple times. LA is, at worst, middle of the pack when it comes to state taxes. The problem is we don't get jack in return from our taxes, because of

Sounds like the only people would be taxed are the ones going to the arena. So basically tickets and popcorn cost a bit more.
