If I could I would say 65-74 but if I had to pick an even decade then I would go with the 60s. The 60s is stacked with iconic bands and music.

Beatles, The Who, Led Zepplin, CCR, Grateful Dead, The Doors, Hendrix, The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, The Stooges, Cream, The Animals, The Zombies, The Yardbirds, Steppenwolf, Tha Allman Bros, The Beach Boys, Simon and Garfunkle, Bob Dylan, The Lovin' Spoonful, Moby Grape, Santana, Buffalo Springfield, Frank Zappa, Velvet Underground, The Rolling Stones, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Band, Janis Joplin, The Supremes, Aretha, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Otis Redding, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Rascals, Ike and Tina, The Jackson Five, Donovan, Wilson Pickett, Stevie Wonder, Roy Orbison, The Drifters, The Four Tops, The Mammas and the Pappas, Dick Dale, The Everly Bros, Van Morrion, Lou Rawls, Canned Heat, The Moody Blues, Country Joe, Three Dog Night, Traffic, Iron Butterfly, Bo Diddly and I am only about halfway through my 60's play list.
