Congrats to them

This is Faneca's 8th Pro Bowl and Mawae's 7th I believe.

Wait a minute, are you telling me LSU had players before Lord Saban ruled over Tigerland.
This can't be right. Pro Bowlers from LSU not recruited by Saban.

Dirty thirty is in the pro bowl too. He received the highest # of votes than any other FS in the national football league.

I may be blind, but I did not see Laron on that NFC roster.

Uh, wrong.

I think he received a high/the highest number of FAN votes, but the Redskins avergage 95,000 fans per game and they stuff the ballot boxes - pure popularity contest. Thankfully (for those who actually care about the Pro Bowl), fan votes only account for one-third of the selection criteria. Once the coaches and players votes were added in, at one-third each, "Dirty Thirty" is not on the roster. Although he may well end up being added as an alternate like he was last year when those selected to the team begin begging out of the game with injuries.

Fan voting for Pro Bowl ends up having a distinct Redskins slant

And living here in the DC area and watching the Redskins games, there's a good reason he wasn't selected: his performance. Lots of reasons - some his fault and others not - but he still seems to value trying to lay a big hit more than he does being in the right position, making a sound tackle, or making a play on the ball.

But thanks for the help in letting us know that the Pro Bowl is a game put on by the the "National Football League." All these years I've thought it was a Professional Bowling Assocation event.

Don't forget the Saban won his first SEC title with DiNardo's players in 2001.

He came close but the other guys had a lot more tackles. Plus the other 2 guys are great in coverage.

Mawae is a dick. His mom still lives in the same little house, works 10 hrs a day, and all he gives his family (except for his wife and kids) for Christmas is shirts and hats from whatever team he's on.

Scott, is that you?

Dude, he is heavily involved in community and gives of his time to those in need. Ever think his folks are people of pride and won't ask or take handouts? STFU

His folks are in Leesville.
