I wish I could lift late, maybe I should try. I'm a morning guy. 415 alarm, up by 430, out the house by 445-5. At the gym ar I und 515, workout until 615, sauna for 15-20 min, shower, get dressed with work clothes and walk from the gym to my desk. Gym is in the same building as my office. Work from 7-4.

I used to be a 5 am guy, too. Having kids have somehow made it to where it made sense to lift at night. Their day starts at 6 am, so it’s not always feasible to lift early. Eventually I will go back to mornings.

This would be me to an almost tee.
As you mentioned, the first 15 minutes sucks, but there’s nothing better than leaving the gym at 6:15 when it’s pitch dark and feeling like you’ve already kicked the day’s arse.
I used to be an evening person, but I can’t even imagine doing that anymore. I tried a 5 PM workout the other day when I was traveling in the morning and couldn’t get there, and I just couldn’t get the juice. It was the most bullshite workout I’ve had in a while, can’t imagine going back to evenings.
