When I first started getting out there post divorce I would go out much more often and enjoy beverages. It did not take long before I realized the phone needed to go off once I had a DD secured or at least in airplane mode until I needed to order an Uber. I got quite a few "you can't talk to me while you're out?" before I explained drunk AS does not have a filter and I will either scare you away or start a fire I will most likely be in no position to satiate by the time I get there.
