You aren't far from accurate, especially the Shiites in Iran. The Shiites teach that their Imams are sinless and their teachings & commands are infallible because they come directly from Allah (their name for God). The Shiites teach that they can bring back the Islamic version of the Messiah (also called the 12th Imam) to rule the world if they can start a cataclysmic world war by attacking Israel with nuclear weapons, (which drives their focus on developing nuclear tipped missiles). Supposedly, the 12th Imam was born in 868 or 869 AD, disappeared in 874 and has been in hiding all these centuries waiting for the apocalypse to happen so he can come back and restore order and perfection to the world.
