I'm particularly enjoying their equivalent arguments to:
1. The Constitution is a living document.
2. The 2A was written for muskets and society has changed.
And, obviously, calling the people arguing for protecting our rights and the 2A progressives

USSenate.gov is not a legal precedent
And "We the People" is only discussing who formed the Government.

The preamble is an important part. It communicates the intention of the constitution. So yeah, it's part of the document.
It says "we the people". I think we know who it's talking about.

I don't know if I've ever discussed Trump's specific role in this other than being a bad coalition builder (generally).
The whole "illegal immigrant" stuff has no bearing to me on a discussion about the 2nd Amendment, and I purposefully stay out of non-policy discussions about them due to all the emotional thinking and groupthink involved.
You need to work on building better strawmen.
