re: Do you know anyone that actually got in trouble for skipping jury-duty summons?

I do think it is a mistake to lie out (by just fabricating an excuse) of grand jury duty if you are selected. Serving on a grand jury will give you a look into the county/city/town you live in like nothing else can. I believe that every single eligible adult should he required to serve on at least one grand jury. We really have no idea what goes on around us on any given day. The news barely even attempts to scratch the surface.
