Poor choice of words.
"Flexibility" probably better than range.
On the other hand, "Beware the man who only owns 1 gun. He probably knows how to use it."
I'm a fan and I don't consider him a strong singer in the same way Elvis Presley or Bill Medley are considered strong singers. This is freely admitting that compared to "proper" singers, Elvis is probably overrated. I mean, The Jordanaires could probably outsing all these top acts, if we're being honest about it
