I went through this with my first wife .... and never looked back.
It was so worth it - over 26 yrs ago after 21 years of marriage.
Best move I ever made dumping the insanely liberal feminist first wife (who gave me three daughters, two of which are far left zealots like their mother) and marrying a beautiful, much much younger, super conservative current wife who gave me my Son.
