re: Coolest birth given names in sports

Some odd sounding names from my years as a Mavs fan:

Dirk Nowitzki-Sounds like a Big German hall of famer!
Popeye Jones-Always seemed like the happiest guy in the room
Mamadou N'Diaye-Nobody packs a lunch like Mama do!
DeSagana Diop-How do they get jop out of diop
Wang Zhizhi-Last name is pronounced ZUW ZUW, instead of Ze Ze.
Cherokee Parks-Hippie parents. Pretty sure his sister's name was worse than his. Has a hot naked lady tattooed on his leg.
Uwe Blab'-Last name pronounced blaup, like something in a semi-liquid state falling & hitting a linoleum floor.
Detlef Schrempf-Poor man's first, and last, names end with an f.
Kurt Nimphius-A hippie Kurt Rambis whatabe who had a tarantula.
