2022 was a terrible year. This isn’t that surprising. I guess many people made that up and more since, but maybe they were in the wrong stuff.

Right, how does everyone forget the massive rotation into consumer staples, oil, and "value"? They could've been in Tesla or something like that and made out way worse.

My lithium mining and battery stocks since then have been completely wrecked.

Been investing for about 7 years and 2022 was by far the worst year by a mile for me. My Div portfolio actually finished up a few points but my other portfolio ended up down about 17%. Had it not been for 2022 my 7 year avg return would have been Dam strong!
