You really think Trump had a fricking clue about judicial nominations?.....or a mastery of the nuances of tax policy? He certainly had principled beliefs and some understating of tax and was smart enough to listen to Ryan and McConnell but it was those guys who had the legislation teed up and ready to go and they whipped up the votes....the tax reform deal had been on dock for years.....the judges had been identified for years.......Trump had frick all to do with it except rubber stamp it.....which he did to his credit.
