re: Netflix won’t play on TV.

A lot of TVs made more than a couple years ago that use the built in Netflix app won't work with the Netflix plan that allows ads. Netflix is aware of this and is unlikely to do anything about it. You might have a firmware update for your TV but don't count on it. We found this out when these plans were introduced recently. Not going to upgrade plans (mine is free) or TVs so I just access Netflix from my media server with the desktop app.
