Royal Hawaiian is also way tougher, you will lose a lot of balls if you aren’t somewhat decent. So that might be another factor to consider.

Thanks for the pics; this kind of settles it for me with Ko Olina. I'm a 10 so I don't mind difficult and I am bringing my clubs to packing extra balls isn't a problem I just don't think the course is that rare / unique / special enough to outweigh no on site dining, no range and an a-hole pro shop attendant.
