I have a gym membership but rarely go. I don’t lift. I use the machines. Thanks for the advice.

This will make you thinner skinny-fat.
You need to lift weights and get in 160g of protein. Adding muscle burns more calories. Burning more calories while preserving muscle is how you lose the pudge. You preserve muscle by lifting weights, reminding the muscles to stay around, and by getting in enough protein to prevent the breakdown of muscle mass while burning calories above what you eat.

Listen to these guys…they know what they’re doing.

I can tell you from personal experience that if you cut too many calories your metabolism will tank and you won’t lose weight and you’ll feel like shite. I’ve been chipping away at my body fat % and actually had to make myself eat more when increasing activity….not less.
