Well hell. Even “going public” with a commit doesn’t mean that much either. Didn’t we just have a “commit” release his “top 5”?

Yes he did. Little odd but can't fault the kid for enjoying the process + if he's communicating with CBK about what's going on and the staff is OK with it, then it is what it is.
The way I view recruitment now is that it's a one-year deal, then kids are essentially free agents again.
