This! Last year that group helped out with the lack of great play on the first and second levels of the defense! First level was not great, got pushed around.. second level was young and inexperienced at times. This year the roles are reversed!

Yeah, I'm optimistic about the front 7, assuming the ILB'ers stay healthy. They need to be better at containing the wide runs, but the '21 and '22 defenses did a great job of that so I think they'll get it fixed this year. That should take some pressure off the secondary too if they don't have to worry as much about the front 7 losing contain on the edge.
