Today I heard the incessant sound of at least 30 crows from a distance. This was different and more sustained than their usual cawing. When the sound started getting closer, I went outside.

There was at least 30 crows mobbing an owl. The owl would perch, and the crows would surround it. Then the owl would fly off and the crows would mob it from the air.

Felt sorry for that owl, but this is the crows' neighborhood.
