Almost every district in America has teacher shortages that are going to get worse as more teachers either retire or throw in the towel.
The more kids we shove in a classroom, the more kids who are being taught by "subs", the more stupid regulations and paperwork we throw at teachers, the worse our educational results will become.

That can largely be overcome if parents were involved with their kids being educated. Everything we see wrong with the students starts at home and what is allowed to take hold there. I saw a commercial yesterday that said 2/3 of 4th graders aren’t able to read at grade level. That’s a reflection on society if you ask me. We just aren’t prioritizing important things.
