depends on what you do
for example, some of the refineries pay engineers very well but they expect 60+ hours a week. so its a trade off and you have to decide what kind of work life balance you want
most places in plaquemine are hard to fill to some extent because people do not want to live on that side of the river and the commute can be brutal from South BR, AP etc
as far as what plants...honestly the LNG plants are going to be the best bang for the buck but again in the middle of no where so commute can be an issue.
