Folks—
This is the Neo-Marxist definition. Poor people in the US can afford televisions, restaurants, and nice clothes. Ergo, the typical Marxist strategy of ripping apart society by class/economics won’t work here. They have to use race.
Reread Marx and replace “race” with “class” and you know the postmodern strategy.
