Traveling from BR Friday afternoon and got general admission tickets for Friday and Saturday nights game. Want to bring a chair and sit on the berms. I know gates open an hour and a half before first pitch. My question is: how early do I need to get there to get a good spot on the berm? Same time as gates opening or get their earlier since it’s a big SEC weekend? Thanks

We went in 2022. Got to the gates about 30 minutes before it opened. A decent crowd was waiting there. It’s a good sized berm, but I would say 30 minutes before to guarantee a good spot.

30-45 mins before . State isn’t doing too hot right now so crowd want be that bad . It’s my favorite stadium in the sec . Have a blast

Also you can bring your own cooler into the stadium. Toss some token waters on top but can fill the rest with beer. There’s a size limit that you can find on their website. They’ll have you crack it open as you enter (hence the waters on top) but there’s so thorough search.
Looks like a good chance of rain. If the forecast improves we’ll probably head up there. Have fun—it’s my favorite college stadium by far
