That's a pretty good list for saying bad coaching. Better than what we got today for the most part in my opinion.
I'm not gonna argue 90s vs now but posting a few 3 minute cherry picked highlights doesnt equal truth. I could make a quite a bit of a 3 minite videos of LeBron mistakes to show he sucks and idiots would claim its true. With as much as Lebron and Jordan have played there are always going to be lowlights.

If it makes you feel better, we can say bad coaching culture.
Not shooting 3s is bad strategy. Shooting long 2s is bad strategy. There is not an argument to me made otherwise. Nothing in the defensive rules at the time led to these bad strategies.
