You’re lucky. My aunt was my best friend. My mom’s younger sister. I was always with her, just spent time with her on school breaks and was just her buddy.

She died at the age of 34. Maybe a day goes by I don’t think of her, but not many. I’ve missed her for 33 years and always will. Because I was a dumbass, I never told her exactly how much she meant to me. I know she knew but still…
