Joe Biden’s U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has arrested 93 January 6th protesters dissidents in the past two months alone. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrests accelerated so much in late 2023 and early 2024 that they could strain the capacities of federal courts in Washington, D.C., with as many as 445 new cases coming before the courts, surpassing the total in 2022 and 2023.
Jacob Rugh, a sociology professor at Brigham Young University in Utah, says that if the current pattern continues, the total number of arrests could reach 2,150 before the statute of limitations on January 6 crimes expires in early 2026.
At least 1,358 people have been arrested and criminally charged over January 6. A six-to eight-month pause in arrests and prosecutions occurred in early 2023 due to the strain on Washington D.C. federal courts, with the surge across recent months reversing this trend.
A majority of January 6 arrests have been concentrated in just seven states, namely Florida (129 arrests), Texas (104), Pennsylvania (93), California (90), New York (80), Ohio (71), and Virginia (67). Around 63 percent of January 6 cases have been adjudicated, with 58 percent of defendants receiving jail or prison time and 19 percent receiving home detention.

Citizens being carried off in the night by clandestine agencies who dared exercise their rights...nothing to see here, nothing to worry about

There’s a guy on Twitter who updates each arrest and trial outcome on a daily basis. He comes across as politically neutral most of the time.
It’s an interesting read because he posts the letters they write asking for leniency.
I would really like to see a documentary on these LARP’ers. Most of them seem to plead guilty and ask for mercy. A crazy percentage of them (well the early wave of arrests) were arrested/convicted based on their own social media posts.
A very common narrative they seem to share is that they feel like they were there because Trump asked them to be there. They also share this narrative that the patriots were going to help round up the traitors who committed treason and the people (elected officials) were going to be exposed for committing treason.
I feel bad for them in the sense that this event really ruined some of their lives. Some have lost jobs, spouses, custody of their children, and of course freedom. They’re being vilified by one side and misrepresented by the other.

DJT should have called off the dogs on his election challenges around Christmas 2020. I would be furious if I ruined my life thinking some Kraken would be revealed that day.

The baw from NY arrested last week was on video beating a female police officer (who was already on the ground) with a flagpole.
Why is this board so unwilling to be honest about what happened that day?

His chances of winning in 2024 would have been greatly improved had he not like a jackass after the election in 2020.

Not so quietly sending out the message that MAGA is a real imminent threat to our democracy.
The true face of tyranny.
The true face of tyranny.

False arrests, every one. I'm looking forward to the blanket pardon of all protestors on J6.
