Did anyone switch to a Samsung S24 Ultra ?
Is it better per say ?
I know it is just iOS vs Android and both have advantages and disadvantages.

Truth is they are so damn close it's like comparing Porsche and Ferrari.

S24 Ultra is amazing.
I think it boils down to what you want for software.

Both platforms are mature and will most likely be great.
The main considerations for me don't have to do with the hardware as much as sunk cost. I've been using the same iphone for about 4.5 years now and it's served me pretty well. Never had a moment's problem with it. The charging port has always worked perfectly, the cable is still the same cable it came with and I've never had an issue with software upgrades or any compatibility issue.
I just recently replaced my wife's old iphone 8 that was still going strong (with an iphone 13.) There wasn't really anything wrong with the 8, but the bigger screen and better camera were pretty worth it for $600 new.
That being said, I had an older Samsung phone and after a couple years it was flaking out. Overall, just felt like a knockoff product. Just a variety of niggling problems that added up to an inferior experience.
I think it comes down to what do you expect out of a phone. What priorities do you have when it comes to purchasing a new piece of tech?
