I don’t know how all this works.
Do you pay more if more weed eating is involved? The fence, flowerbeds, all the trees planted just straight in the grass/not mulched, hedges in grass, sidewalks, little brick edged parking spot, trampoline, swing set. Beds to weed eat around. Climbing roses and wisteria vines growing on fence planted just straight in the ground.

Dog poop that young son missed when poop scooping. (He uses a push mower.)

I have it all completely detailed but I’m afraid y’all will think it’s too long to read.

How much each visit? It’s a lot of work

I have a half acre of grass with a few mulched trees, several flower beds, and edges. I pay my guy $285/mo. They come once a week from April-October and twice a month November-March. They also keep the flowerbeds weeded and trim dead leaves and growth off of plants. I prune myself but they offer that as part of their service. They are good and the owner comes by often to do quality checks on his guys. I feel like it’s fair for both of us.

Honestly, a lot of thee price depends on how picky you are and also whether they do some of your neighbors yards so they don’t have to unload more than once.

My cost of mow and clip a pretty simple 1/4 acre has crept up to $60 a visit done by 3 HS seniors with professional equipment. Lower would be nice.

If it can't be done with a motor, they don't do it. For knowledgeable landscape work I pay $40hr to a guy who knows more than me and needs no supervision. If he brings a helper I make it $60/hr.

In using the $40/hr figure for a skilled worker I compared his great work with similarly appreciated house cleaner who charges $40/hr.
