Setup at their house? Got a burner coming in that I’ll have to weld. Thinking I’ll need a regulator besides a shut off valve just before the burner. Any advice would be appreciated

this guy did a video about it.
i did mine just like his video and it works perfectly.
you simply connect it to any available gas line you have. nothing special is needed, and no need for changing anything with your gas service.

Where did he get the Natural gas burner from with all the brass jets? Is that what he said he bought for $35?

i think the jet ring cost $20 at hardware store, i believe the $35 was cost of buying the burner
total cost for mine was right at $60 for everything
when i use my big 100 quart pot, it takes 15 minutes from cold water to a rolling boil

So they make a 32 tip burner that’s 2” bigger in diameter. Wonder if it will fit inside the same burner housing?

no its too big, the 23 jet is all you need and all that will fit in the burner shown in the video.
remember you need some airspace around the ring for it to burn correctly

Gotcha. Thanks. Yeah there’s a burner on Amazon with 23 jets to a propane hookup. Would be easy to convert to natural gas. It’s around $100

frick that, they sell on ebay all day long for $40 with free shipping, it used to be $20 before bidenomics

people that automatically use amazon get ripped off every time, shop around, amazon is almost always the highest price for everything

Pretty sure he is referencing a complete burner, not just the jet ring. Generally you are correct about Amazon being "high", but it usually isnt by much. That 23 jet ring is $38.99 on amazon...

But that pre-made propane one on Amazon is a good starting point. Should only have to modify the inlet.
