Not sure how McAlisters failed there. Place was always crowded for lunch.

The McAllisters franchisee for Louisiana lost the rights, so the problem may not have been that location.
The other restaurants though? I’m sure having to cross fricking Perkins near Essen made people say “Do we REALLY want to eat here?”.
