Who are y’all liking these days for repair on these trucks in the Baton Rouge or 25 mile radius? Issue is with the exhaust system. Hoping that a manual regen will solve the issue, but it’s never that simple with these new diesels and all this emissions bs. I gave my truck to my son and 6 months down the line it left him on the side of the road last night. Exhaust system stuff has been on for a little while and haven’t had time to take it in. It’s a 2017 gmc 2500 duramax. Any suggestions for a good shop other than the tri-care, coys etc is appreciated. Also depending on what it ends up being I may just go the route of having it deleted so anyone that can do that is a plus. Thanks for any assistance

i think the biggest and busiest is Tri Care and Coy's both close to Gonzales. Both do great work but i wouldn't let Coy's work on anything of mine because of the manager/rudeness.

I used Diesel avenue off Florida Bvld and was happy with the work and time it took them. i would use them again.

All three mentioned work on all brands.

You just need to delete it now and be done with it. It’s a shame the EPA HAS GOTTEN away with all these bs rules on these engines. It actually chokes them.

Truck will run better and have better mpg. Only thing is pending on how spicy of a tune u do u need to have them re tune the transmission only for spicy tunes. And if u put a spicy tune on it put a lift pump on it so u don’t run the rail dry and pump it in limp mode. I know from experience…….

The older engines are easier the newer they are the more tricky. Everything is labeled for racing only. But as long as they keep everything on a computer it’s not all that hard just got to find someone who knows what they are doing. Ez link is what a lot of ppl are going to these days

If you really want to make it spicy put a variable vain turbo on that bad Jackson! With the tune.
