Sorry but I miss what ballparks use to look like.

Old parks were extremely unique until the awful run of copy past circle hells started popping up in the 70s:

Baker Bowl, Philly

Ebbets Field, Brooklyn

Boston Braves Field (520 feet to right center)

League Park, Cleveland

Crosley Park, Cincinatti

Tiger Stadium, Detroit

Forbes Field, Pittsburgh

Polo Grounds, NY (my all time favorite unique/weird field)

Shibe Park, Philly

Tiger Stadium was awesome, but so many of the seats had obstructive views due to the posts keeping up the upper deck and the roof. And the upper-deck was another problem because if you sat higher in the lower deck you would have poles blocking your views of lets say second base or any base or the pitchers mound or home plate. And you would not be able to see the ball if it was a fly ball. You would see the ball leave the infield and then your view would be blocked in the air and you wouldn't see it until came down. But if it was a homerun into the upper deck you would not see the ball and would have to wait for crowd reaction to know if it was a homerun.

Great stadium, but you had to have the right seats. Plus, the dugouts, bullpen, clubhouse, lockers and offices and concessions so on and training rooms were horrible by the 90s. No bars or clubs or restaurants fancy catering available As other clubs were building new stadiums there was just no room to build the facilities it now takes.
