re: Where to stay in Rome.

Me and my wife did a 4 day honeymoon in Rome 2 summers ago before meeting my family in France and doing a big 2 weeks trip.

We stayed at a very nice hotel in the Pantheon square. Our balcony over looked the square.

First day when we landed we did all the walking things. Coliseum, Caesars forums.

2nd day was Vatican, Sistine Chapel. That night we did a food tour of Travestire.

3rd day we took a day trip to Florence.

4th day we Toured the Necropolis beneath the Vatican where St. Peter is buried. (if you have any interest in this, need to start looking for tickets now.) Walked the 581 steps to the top of the Vatican. And we went to a church called Sancta Santorum which has the exact steps that Jesus walked on the day he was sentenced to death; a surreal experience.
