pickle juice, with a little bit of dijon mustard is a good liquid to rub on a brisket before you add your salt and pepper.
I've marinated chicken in jalapeno juice before frying them up to make chicken sandwiches.
And it really is a good thing to have in the refrigerator as a pick me up when dehydrated or cramping.
didn't know about the heartburn cure, but even more reason to keep a jar in the fridge at all times.
