I seriously wonder if all the cook hate is because y’all believe he saved mcmahon’s job

Cook was criticized since his first game back and it’s ridiculous

Well this is just absurd.

The "hate" (if you want to call it that) is more in SUPPORT of McMahon than anything else. Support in the sense that there is some frustration in the speculation that a key player is choosing not to play at a time the team/coach seems like it could be turning a corner. If fans didn't want McMahon's job "saved", they would be happy a key player isn't playing. And while I agree that Cook's insertion into the lineup right before SEC play started did help to turn the team around, you can make the argument what "saved" McMahon's job is the 4 wins in the last 5 games (even though he was already unlikely to be fired). None of which Cook played in. Particularly the wins over South Carolina and Kentucky.

Absolutely, folks can believe what they want to and downvote all they want to, this situation is past an injury situation and has been for a bit.

and I think CMM has handled it right to this point, but from what I hear, again....it ain't getting better...and I ain't talking about a labia or a hamstring.
