Just remembered another point. She spent 10 years studying the people who lived on islands off Bangladesh. They experienced a lot of flooding. However, she didn't blame it on rising ocean levels. She said it just rained more than it used to and that was caused by global warming.
I'm pretty sure global rainfall is about the same every year but not every country is gonna get the same amount every year.
