He was obviously joking and trolling us. I think Broski knows about Nola and Skenes.

BTW, Holman is a lot like Nola in that he’s not overpowering but his placement, with several different pitches, is so good and consistent that it’s frustrating for the hitters. They can’t guess.

Also, he throws some fastballs that appear to be in the hitters’ wheelhouse but they keep missing. He must have some movement on that which I’m not seeing. Aside from Skenes, I haven’t been this confidant in a starter since Nola.
