The big mistake was not being on second with the ball bouncing as far as it did from the catcher.

I'm not even talking about not stealing him. He should have sent him home on that double. If they make a good throw he is hosed, but you make them do it with two outs because it takes a base hit for you to score. Pair it with the fact that you are facing a pitcher who isn't going to give up many hits, and that's another reason to send. Stings to know the relay was bad and he would have easily scored.

CJJ is an elite coach but his approach when a guy gets on first drives me up the wall.

It's cause you are a moron. They have stole plenty of bases so far. There was no need to do it last year. And a ball in the dirt is 10000% on the runners read and jump. He isn't telling them NOT to go.
