There is the LA Outdoor Expo at Lamar Dixon in a couple weeks so I guess it’s 2 different organizations. I’m really not a big fan of having it in Baton Rouge.

Very weak this year. Only had 1 vendor selling rod/reels and it was sac-a-lait fishing. Not worth the $15 to get in after paying $20 to park.

The old owner of the show who sold it a few years back decided to get back in it and snaked the new owners by booking a show at Lamar Dixon in a few weeks. It forced the new owners to move to baton rouge.
All shows like this are a money maker for who puts on the show. There are no deals on boats, rvs, etc.
it costs local dealers a fortune to enter the show, pay employees, haul boats in and out, etc.
You usually get a better deal those weekends around the show at a dealership.
These shows are for old people who are used to insisting on buying at a show
