The no-pay-no-play statute needs to be amended. You shouldn't be allowed to recover general damages if you don't have insurance.

Have you seen some of the tort reform legislation that is actively being proposed? $25k damage cap on soft tissue injuries, for instance. We're about to see just how strong the plaintiff lawyer lobby is in Louisiana, even with a Republican super majority.
