It sounds like the judge has enough information to make a ruling.
The defense wanted to submit more evidence to the judge, but he said he wanted to go ahead and hear closing arguments because he "might" have enough information to make said ruling.
If he was on the fence and felt like he didn't have enough info he would simply allow the additional evidence.
That statement leads me to think he has heard enough.
