Giving Cousins a bunch then immediately drafting a QB in the top 10 would be asinine in general and even dumber if the thought is that Blank wants to win now.

Disagree. If the Falcons are giving Cousins that type of money that have to be working under the assumption that they can win now with him. That means you aren't going to be drafting in the top 5 for the forseeable future and they'll find themselves in the same place 3 or 4 years down the road with a ? at QB and no real solutions available. Unless they find themselves in a position where a can't miss impact player is on the board when their turn comes up in the draft, I could see them taking a QB to learn under Cousins for 2-3 years. At that point Cousins either flames out and we have someone ready to go or we can trade the guy we drafted for draft capital.

All depends on which QBs are left when they pick and what other high impact guys are available as well...IMO.
