I agree It’s absolutely ridiculous to compare the two . One not often brought up against Pete is he averaged over 30 shots a game. My earliest memories from Cow Palace was of him raining shots every possession in a set was a shot for him. The few fast breaks were another matter totally. Will never be a player like him but his particular situation was also unique.

You can talk all you want about the number of shots, but he also had three or four people hanging off his arse. He also played when there was no shot clock. He also way more points if you add in the shots that would’ve been three-pointers. It’s apples and oranges. And I do think you count his freshman year stats because they were score while he was in college. Doesn’t matter who he scored him against. Rules or rules.
