I'd venture to say your perspective and the number of upvotes it's received thus far is a more disturbing indication that the United States is on the decline.
The dude was a bad kid/teenager and as an adult he spent a year in prison before being paroled. Turned his life around and finds success in the music industry and the OT shits on him like "frick that guy. He sucks."

Jelly Roll would probably tell everyone he is not specific to the genre of Country music but hell if that is the best play to make millions then go with it. He and his wife are pretty public about their lives. He an ex con and her a stripper and both ex drug addicts. Hell I like all music: old, new, all genres, etc. Bring on Jelly Roll in hot arse Tampa in July 2024

Exactly.. These people are fricking dreamer... A bunch of moon kiters. I've heard him on Theo Vonn's podcast and on Rogan and he seems as genuine as you can get. Music evolves. God forbid it changes from what it was when they were younger.
They look at him, he is a big guy.. face tattoos.. "he is trash". People sound ignorant when they comment about shite they know nothing about. If you read a thread and don't know much about the topic.. Move on. Not the idiots on this board
