LHSAA trying to remain relevant like the NCAA
In the grand scheme of things, both situations are irrelevant.
Kudos to Vandebilt for turning themselves in for a grades infraction. Most schools sweep that under the rug. No reason to not let the other kids compete.
Twenty years will pass and I'm sure we will all remember the Opelousas scandal. Who cares?

Any institution whose purpose is to keep kids OFF the field is an enemy of mine.
This is the same organization that when you call to ask for clarity on one of their rules will not give you an answer and instead say “play them and we’ll decide later”

Same organization passed a rule “accidentally” making a huge portion of Catholic school freshmen ineligible, realized the mistake, voted to correct it, but still said those kids couldn’t play this year. Cowards- all of them

over 20 years since the bastrop vacates and the people they beat are still pissed.

The LHSAA enforced their rules - if you want HS ball to be like the current version of college ball you need to be drug tested.
