The smart ones will pivot to events - either getting older movies up there on the cheap (sell $4 tickets and get folks in for the concessions), birthday parties with Fortnite up there on the huge screen, etc.

The dumb ones will die. It's not sustainable when Joe and Jane Trailerpark have a 85" screen in their double wide and they expect a family of 4 to drop well over $100 (tickets, concessions) for a dull, reimagined wokefest at their muliplex.

That's basically what the ones around here have been doing. We've probably been to the movies more this year than in recent memory (going in the next week or so for Dune Part 2) and noticed they are running classic movies on typical off-peak times. For instance, ours is doing Terminator 2 today.
