People still hang pheasants up to age a couple days. Has to be the right temperature but it seems cold in the show. (snowing at some points)

Why did Blackthorne have it hanging up? Seems like he didn't care about it much less tell someone that if they touch it it means death.

I get the end result of what happened with it but I was just wondering why it was there in the first place and I guess I missed the part when Blackthorne told them not to touch it.

he was going to dry age it for a stew.

mariko wasn't there to interpret when he received it and he used broken Japanese to say "if you touch. death" obviously not what he meant but it's what was interpreted.

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but how do you miss this? Are you fricking with your phone while watching or something? It's a pivotal scene, and it's plainly shown.

I'll never understand people who "watch TV" while on their phone. But I'm a Gen X guy so I wasn't handed a smart phone as soon as I popped out of the womb.

Now get off my lawn.
