re: Wendy’s plans on introducing surge pricing for menu items starting next year

Here’s their stupidity. They’re doing it backwards. Presumably they want to encourage people to eat there more often during “off peak” hours. Correct??


Fine. Then institute “sag” rather than “surge” pricing ie. REDUCE menu item prices during those slower (between meal) times. Keep current prices the same during rush hour and presumably sell more during slow periods. The optics are MUCH better this way.
